WHO DO WE TRAIN?
Different from other campaign management and candidate trainings, Bet on Us curriculum was created by Black womxn, for Black womxn
Participants will learn how to build community-centered campaigns, bringing their full identities to their candidacies because we know that Black womxn can live in our truth while leading with conviction and fighting for big structural change.
We work with candidates in real time to sharpen their skills, strengthen their campaigns and change the narrative of what it means to be a leader. We cover campaign foundations including, communications, fundraising, field planning and more, all while staying rooted in Black movement history.
Participants learn and ground themselves in the legacy of Black womxn in Southern movement history who used public service to create better conditions for their communities.
